Negative Pressure Wound Therapy

Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT) is a widely used therapeutic wound treatment technique. The therapy entails creating a controlled partial-vacuum environment surrounding a wound, by using a sealed dressing connected to a vacuum pump. Click-in canister attachment and one-touch canister release button allow for easy canister exchange. With a double lumen tubing design from the pump to the wound site and a quick connector interface provides easy and secure attachment between the dressing tubing and the canister tubing. This partial vacuum removes fluid from the wound and increases blood flow, encouraging tissue growth and healing.
